各位親愛的家長及同學：

Dear parents and students,

"Promise is promise!" When we formed the English choral speaking Team last September, I promised all members that regardless of the competition results, I would treat everyone to pizza. On 2nd May (Friday) during lunch, pizza, chicken wings, fries, soda, and even ice cream were prepared for each student. Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces made this celebration truly meaningful. The team members not only participated in competitions but also represented the school in performances, receiving praise for their shows over the past few years. Moving forward, we will continue to work hard in English choral speaking to achieve even better results.

5 月 3 日（六），我與 5 位老師帶領四年級學生參加屯門區 Speaking Towards Excellent Project (STEP) 活動。此活動為學生提供英語口語實踐平台，同時促成教師專業交流。當天教育局（屯門區）總發展主任擔任主禮嘉賓，三所中學學生亦到場表演並擔任義工。同學們透過與各校學生互動，體會英語溝通的重要性，更在活動中學習團結、合作等價值觀，體現本校「經歷為本」的教育理念。

On 3rd May (Saturday), I, along with five teachers, led our Primary 4 students to participate in the Tuen Mun District Speaking Towards Excellent Project (STEP) activity. This event provided a platform for students to practice their English speaking skills while facilitating professional exchanges among teachers. The day featured the Chief School Development Officer (Tuen Mun District) of Education Bureau as the guest of honor, with students from three secondary schools performing and volunteering. Through interactions with students from other schools, our students experienced the importance of English communication and learned values such as unity and cooperation, embodying our school's educational philosophy of "experience-based learning."

5月4日(日)清晨，師生代表前往灣仔金紫荊廣場，參與「紀念中國人民抗日戰爭・金紫荊廣場五四升旗禮 2025」，與約 1200 名中、小學生及青少年制服團體成員共襄盛舉，深化愛國情懷與民族責任感。

On the morning of 4th May (Sunday), teacher and student representatives attended the "Commemoration of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War – Flag-Raising Ceremony at Golden Bauhinia Square 2025" in Wan Chai, joining about 1,200 primary and secondary students and youth uniform groups to deepen our patriotic sentiments and sense of national responsibility.

配合教育局《4Rs 精神健康約章》，學校於地下課室設置「愛自己，讓愛自給自足」彩色積分展板，在課室外擺放地毯、墊子與公仔，營造放鬆空間。同學們更製作漆扇，書寫自我鼓勵的話語。

In line with the Education Bureau's "4Rs Mental Health Charter," the school set up a colorful corner display board titled "Love Yourself, Let Love Be Self-Sufficient" in the classroom on the ground floor. We created a relaxing space with mats and plush toys outside the classroom. Students also made painted fans, writing self-encouraging messages.

5 月 10 日（六），本校與世界龍岡學校朱瑞蘭（中英文）幼稚園於屯門大會堂合辦《中國少年好故事》聯校舞蹈匯演。節目以舞蹈演繹孔融讓梨、花木蘭從軍等經典故事，傳遞勤勞、承擔等價值觀。本校 24 位四至六年級女生表演《花木蘭》，身穿特製服裝，伴隨激昂樂聲展現優美技巧，贏得熱烈掌聲。

On 10th May (Saturday), our school co-hosted a "Chinese Youth Good Stories" inter-school dance performance with the Chu Sui Lan (Anglo-Chinese) Kindergarten at Tuen Mun Town Hall. The program featured dances interpreting classic stories such as (Kong Rong Gives Pears) and (Mulan Joins the Army), conveying values of diligence and responsibility. Our school's 24 girls from Primary 4 to 6 performed "Mulan," wearing specially designed costumes and showcasing beautiful techniques to the accompaniment of stirring music, earning loud applause.

本校逢星期二下午的 S.T.E.A.M 課上，一年級學生於 5 月 13 日運用 Lego BricQ 組建工具，理解基礎工程學理論，專注投入的表現令人讚賞。

In our S.T.E.A.M. class on Tuesday afternoons, P.1 students, on 13th May, used Lego BricQ building tools to understand basic engineering theories, and their focused engagement was commendable.

5 月 8 日，六年級 5 名同學以「空氣智濾」設計參加常識百搭比賽，榮獲優異獎，該裝置旨在過濾污染空氣，守護公眾健康。

On 8th May, five P.6 students participated in the General Studies "Air Smart Filter" design competition, winning an outstanding award. This device is designed to filter polluted air and protect public health.

5 月 15 日下午，六年級同學齊聚禮堂製作青花瓷碟畢業紀念品，透過聽講解、親手繪圖，完成獨一無二的禮物。

On 15th May, P.6 students gathered in the hall to create blue-and-white porcelain plate graduation souvenirs, completing unique gifts through listening to explanations and hand-drawing.

5 月 20 日，本校接待了香港及新加坡教育局代表團。來賓參觀校園、觀摩英詩集誦與課堂教學，並與家長、學生、教師交流。雙方互贈紀念品，新加坡代表團對本校辦學理念給予高度評價。我們將繼續精進，為學生締造更優質的學習環境。

On 20th May, our school hosted a delegation from the Hong Kong and Singapore Education Bureaus. The guests toured the campus, observed our English choral speaking performance and classroom teaching, and engaged in discussions with parents, students and teachers. Both sides exchanged souvenirs, and the Singapore delegation highly praised our school's educational philosophy. We will continue to improve and create a better learning environment for our students.
